Friday week, Pete and I were practicing our tech diving skills and dropped down to 155' over the middle wall at Sund Rock.
We got a late start and with the thick plankton bloom, at 150' it was essentially a night dive.
Right at our turn around spot I looked down and saw a threadfin sculpin. Only the 2nd one I have ever encountered.
Shortly thereafter we ran into several blacktip poachers.
followed by a blue barred prickleback
and finally, one of my local favorites, a longspine combfish.
All in all, a very fun critter-filled dive

SUPER COOL that you're seeing all of these! BTW, on your REEF surveys, just email me the survey number once you've input it, and tell me the depth if it's beyond 130, and I'll input the super secret code on the back end to record it. ![ :D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
