Awesome pics!

We had viz of about 30 feet on the way to, and at the W. Seattle Fishing Reef from shore on Sunday. Cold, but super nice day as many of you recall!

Octopus Hole, Nov 23 2011.

A solid 6" down to about 5fsw then opening up nicely to 10'+ below about 20fsw.

Not a whole lot to see but still fun.

It was still about 20' at Redondo today. Half of what it was, but better then a Texas lake!

Fox Island West Wall yesterday was 10' at worst, 20' at best, with the largest Giant Nudis I have ever seen.

Oh, and they are piling up rocks and dirt, etc near the access point. I sure hope it is for construction that's happening close.by and that no one is getting the bright idea to block access. This is still a great second dive and if you know where to look there is a fair amount of life.

They were replacing the large riprap last summer/fall, the homeowner to the east of the entrance was having the project done.

Cove 2 today -- I got all excited when I heard an exiting diver remark to his buddy that this was the best viz he had ever seen at the site.

He's obviously only dived it in the summertime :)

Viz was good, though, probably 20 - 30 feet. The shallow water was FULL of tubesnouts, extending from where we were at about 20 feet, almost to the surface. It was beautiful to look up through the mint-green, sunlit water and see all these small, linear fish like I-ching sticks, scattered every which way.

Dove Edmonds today on an ebbing tide. I hadn't been there in quite a long time. Viz was easily 25-30 feet, and we even encountered a big school of tubesnouts out near the Triumph. Lings are very pregnant, and cabbies are practicing their threat displays, but they aren't on eggs yet, so nobody got whacked upside the head. I had forgotten how BIG the fish at Edmonds are!
