For those folks who experienced only tires, sunflower stars and silt at Langley, I want to tell, that it is not all bad, one just has to look little bit harder. Yesterday, Monday the 19th, Painted Greenling showing off its future family

Yeah, as one of the Langley-bashers, I must admit it would be nice to have that spot in our backyard. Vis was good, and it was fun to poke around there.
But, after Keystone, I think my critter meter was turned up a bit. Juxtaposing those two sites made for quite a contrast.
And yes, I did just use the word "juxtapose" on a scuba bulletin board.
I like the tire reef. Probably one of the most relaxing dive sites in PS. I just wish it was bigger. I get all the way around in ~45 mins and might as well go up even when I have 45cf left in a LP95.
Shallow, easy to navigate, no currents, lots of little critters are all pluses IMO. Best as a night dive and never go at low tide (yuck).
