Friday night dive? Friday night NWDC party? (3/23)

Mrs. Sounder is playing poker with the ladies this Friday (3/23) which REALLY means they'll all just sit around drinking mojitos and talking about whatever it is they talk about... then they'll probably all go to the bathroom at the same time... because they do that. Men may never understand.

Perhaps they escourt each other to the restroom incase the toilet monster attacks!

I'm considering a night dive but am equally intrigued by the idea of getting a bunch of NWDCers together for pizza and beer somewhere. :occasion5: It'd be fun to put more faces to avatars!

Anyone interested in a dive? Pizza? Both? $\:D/$ We could hit Cove 2 then Pyramid or Georgtown Brewery... somewhere else? Other ideas?

Dude... Pizza and beer instead of diving? Have you lost your mind? I am scheduling another serious intervention... here we go again!?!?? Last time it was almost knitting.... now it's pizza and beer?! (alot more dangerous than knitting!) ...this is serious!

I'd love a night dive... or day dive... or afternoon dive... or

I'm thinking Cove 2 + pizza & beer somewhere local afterward. When? I dunno yet. How does 7pm sound? Let's see who all is interested and coordinate for our after-work folks (for those of you lucky people with jobs).

Any suggestions for a dinner location? Is there a brewery/pizza place in West Seattle? There's GOT to be one... anybody know?

My brother is getting married this weekend in Vegas so I will be on a plane while you all are diving having lots of fun! I wish I was diving with you!!! Vegas will be fun, but I have been lots of times...nothing new.

Now that I have a full time employee, I will have more time to dive! $\:D/$ Everyone call me when they want to dive, starting next week!

I'd suggest either Pegasus, down the street, or Northlake Tavern for the pizza and beer.

So Friday, 7pm at Cove 2 for a dive followed by pizza at Pegasus (it's much closer than Northlake). Who else is coming?! Is RSDancy coming?

This is a great idea. I've been wanting to do pizza/beer for some time now. Unfortuneately, I will be diving this evening, and on Sunday, and I'll be out of town all week next week. I think my wife would probably like some of my time (I should be so lucky). Let me know when you do this again.

Unfortunately, RSDancey is landlocked in Las Vegas until the 1st or so and won't be joining us.

He says Lake Mead is a bust for diving, btw, so Padigal is better off drinking when she's there for the wedding.

Is Cove 2 at the same dive site as Alki (is cove 2 the one right by the fish n chips place or the other one?)

Yes, Cove 2 is the parking lot of the fish 'n chips place.

Another note - I think some people are going to try to be there a little earlier than 7pm. I'm shooting for 6:30p - 6:45p, but I'll be at the will of the traffic Gods.

It was nice to meet all of you. It was a great dive. Im looking forward to diving with you all again sometime in the future. Unfortunately our dive with DeepSea had to be cancelled due to the wind warnings. Sooo, if anyone wants to dive again this evening let me know. Fishtiq and I are looking for a southend dive as an alternative. It seems all the weather is centered around the Everett area and northward. Im sure the vis is not great anywhere but heck, who needs to see?

It was a great time!

We'll do it again soon - I'm thinking it'd be a great once-a-month event and moving it around to the north and south ends. $\:D/$ Hopefully next time the seals will leave my fins alone.
