Last Friday, I was up near Sea-Tac Airport, taking care of some errands and I had my dog with me.
I wanted to get him out of the truck, for a walk somewhere. So I decided to take him down to one of my favorite hang outs, Three Tree N.
As he was running up and down the beach, he stopped and started digging @ something behind/under one of the big logs, that is washed up on the beach. I went over there, to see what he was doing and this is what he found!
I brought them home and cleaned them up, in some bleach and a longer piece of rope actually fell off from one end. I wrapped them up for a Christmas gift, to my wife, from Amos, our dog.
My wife has always wanted some of these, for our decoration of our home, because it is a nautical theme in our house, Go figure huh?
I always hoped I would find some, or one, in Sitka Alaska, on one of my trips up there.
I don't think these are something new, that just washed up on the shore, they looked like, they have been there, for a while.
And they don't look as to be glowing from radio activity, from Japan.
What a cool find huh?
