The KOA campground in Kent is still around. Dash Point State Park is close as well. Both are roughly 15 minutes away to the north and south, respectively.

Dash point is a good choice. If your camping it shouldn't be a problem at all. If your RVing there are only 29 sites so reserve soon if there are sites available. you can reserve online at

The Dash point road comes out right at the top of the hill where the south Redondo road goes down the hill so it's pretty darn convenient.

I may try to make this but I am more or less clueless when it comes to a lot of the Puget Sound dives.... Where is REdondo located? I would be coming from the Peninsula, is it north or south sound? If you can't tell already I have never been to Redondo before although I do have more dives than I care to remember under me, I would probably want to be paired up with someone that knows the site for the first dive...

It's in Des Moines, next to Salty's. We'll meet in the parking lot across kitty corner from Salty's, NOT the parking lot directly across the street from the restaurant. Here's a map!
