Les Davis 2/13/12 - In search of...

Post by Scubie Doo »

Disclaimer: If you clicked this thread to see the baby wolfies, I am sorry to have mislead you. You will have to go to other posts for that.

Penders and I headed out to Les Davis to find the infamous hatching Wolf Eels. The first dive we had nice viz 25', we dropped in about 3:00pm, and looked everywhere for the babies. Even reviewed the videos posted from yesterday's dive, and felt we knew where to find them. Complete fail! The second dive the viz turned bad, about 10'. We spent this dive as equally frustrated, we swore we swam to the spots on the videos, but no dice! About half way through each dive, Penders and I started taking pictures of some great finds (insert sarcasm here). No baby Wolf Eel photos, but brace yourself... Sculpins, shrimp, and nudi's oh my! :partyman:

That explains why I could not find the baby wolf eels, I didn't even know what dive site I was at. :nutty:

BTW - I fixed it to avoid complete chaos and confusion on the board.

Dave,

I know, I know. I should have jumped in the water with you on Sunday. Oh well.

BTW - Thanks for the discovery. It was cool to see the videos.
