Interesting... I'm curious to hear how the maintenance turns out to be. I'm looking for a hack rig myself which can fit a 100 lb coonhound, and the Urals are nice looking, although I've been gunning for an older R series BMW and Steib or something similar. The price is certainly more than reasonable on the Urals. I've just shied away due to the maintenance horror stories I've heard, plus top speeds that seem to not keep up on the interstate.
I'd love to hear what you think once it's broken in!

I've soo been eyeing that for the same deal. Weight wise how is it handeling with dive gear in there? Plenty of room for a dry suit, BO's and breather?
