Pea-soup at the junkyard down to 20-25' on an ebbing low tide. Opened up fairly well at depth, i'd say ~15-20...

FAR better than the pea soup to 60 that we had at cove 2 to cove 0 yesterday for a little scooter jaunt ;) strikingly sucky, but that did not spot my eagle eye buddy from finding a tiny lumpsucker!

Sund Rock, generally anywhere from crappy, to really crappy. Down at 110 opened up abit, and scattered areas around 40-60 as well. Very random.

5/28 Scatchet Head 3 feet at 30 feet

5/28 Hat Island (Gedney Island) fishing reef suspended "snot" down to 25 feet then 10-15 feet below that.

One of these days the weather is going to cooperate when I am out on the boat and not be windy or rainy.

Hey, even the DIT director apologized to me!

Yesterday at C2 we were back to solid bloom. Down to 60, no more than 8 to 10 on the outside, very murky. And we have to do OW checkout dives today!

vis was 0-6" in the top 20' but on the high tide this afternoon it was an easy 20' at depth (40-50') at the junkyard....

On the low tide this morning the clams were spooging and it was a very hazy 2-3' at 60-70'

The moral of this story is... If someone says the morning vis on the low sucked it doesn't always mean the afternoon high will suck.

Dash Point was about 8' at 60 ebb slack of the -2 tide, had to break 30 for any sort of vis
About 10-12 at 114 on the flood, bottom crawling due to current!

Redondo today wasn't bad from about 30 feet down -- at least ten feet, hazy, but you could see well enough to enjoy yourself.

On the other hand, we did the descent on the cable from the aquarium, and it was a good thing; we did our ascent in touch contact. The top 15 feet of water was opaque.

You guys crack me up.

We had a hazy 15 or more on North Wall yesterday morning, but viz had gone down (and the current had come up) by the time we did Zees. It was still better than it's been in C2, though!

Good to know! I heard The Lake (Washington) sucks too. Oh well. Luckily I have plenty of gear maintenance work to do :luv:

Wasn't that due to a silt-out? :smt064

Nope. All our Fundies silting cause it to drop to 0 ;)
