Cove 2 was 10-15 or so, but with lots of particles in the water. An improvement over the chocolate milk.

Bonaire this week has been pretty consistently 100+ depending on the wave action. A few times it got murky / misty in the shallows, but other than that it was stellar. Hopefully the Spring viz will be going away as we squeeze back into our dry suits.

Cove 2 last night was a consistent 10-20 at depths down to about 110.

Considering what we've been getting these past few weeks, that is practically clear ...

EUP last night was 10-15 ft. In my mind it seems things have cleared up a bit.

Redondo wasn't bad this afternoon. The tide was far enough out that we were in 8 fsw at the end of the pier, and there was a nasty halocline above 25 feet, but below that it opened up to about 20-25 feet. And we even found the young GPO that the MAST aquarium released about an hour earlier.

30-40 ft of vis at Cove 2 today. It was amazing!! My group and I swam out to the buoy and by the time we went about 15 ft down, we could see the bottom, and see a huge panorama of the whole site up to about 40 ft away. Ive never seen vis like that at C2 before. But then again, I havent even lived in the area for a year.

Yeah, we had at least 30 at C2 this morning. One of those spectacular days, with tons of viz and tons of light and tons of life. If you dive there, look at the fuzzy weeds in the shallows -- you'll find little clumps of eggs that belong to all those tubesnouts in mating colors!

Redondo 0-5 in the top 20 feet or so. 20-40 it was better but lots of freshwater haze. Opened up to a solid 15 feet or so under the hard thermocline. Hit Muk on the way home and it was similar but more stirred up by wave action in the top 15 feet.

Redondo late in the day was much better. I hit it pretty much at the top of the incoming tide last evening. Vis above 30 fsw was 15-20 ... then it opened up to essentially clear. At 50 fsw vis was in the 30+ foot range, and below that it got even better ... at the bottle field I could see pretty well without even using a light.

This is the best vis I've seen in Puget Sound about three months ... unfortunately, there just wasn't a whole lot out to look at ...

MUK T-Dock was stirred up bad by surf/swell: surface to 20fsw was < 5. Opened up to 15-20 below 70. Calm and clear (25-30?slack before ebb) deeper than 90fsw.
