Hmm, I was under the impression the deepest part of Lake W was 215-222.

Back in 85 on my deep dive I got to 208' by shoving my pneumo as deep into the mud as my arm could reach. That was after I realized I was on the bottom suspending in the silt and no longer descending. I did not carry a light for that dive. I think it was the darkest dark I have ever seen.CaptnJack wrote:More like 205 at high tide and its a small area around the west end of SR520defied wrote:Hmm, I was under the impression the deepest part of Lake W was 215-222.

Sounds about right. I think I've seen 201 or 202 a few times in the lake. And I've never seen a darker dark than those dives. (none more black!) It's seriously spooky down there.

You should really keep a mouthless mask on your gimp. I find that it thwarts food/drink based bribary attempts. Spatman tried the same thing with my gimp when I had him in the basement. It didn't work. Not sure how he ended up bribing him. Gimp couldn't tell me (I also "un-teach" speech with my gimps).Joshua Smith wrote:That explains a lot. Spatman finally did his Polish Bondage Marathon? Congrats, bud! After that groin pull last year, a lot of people said you'd never compete at that level again, but I always knew you'd be back!CaptnJack wrote:Maybe not, but you've done the PBM nowspatman wrote:No comment.

So, from what I've gathered, based the stories of Spatman locked in a basement and pastries resembling Captain Jack's underwear, If you'd like to dive Lake Washington wrecks hook up with someone who's done them before and glean some knowledge from them first hand, on the water. They're more than willing to share. Then, plan your own dives using the knowledge gained from these weirdos.
