I just wanted to share with my dive community friends that I will be joining the ranks of fatherhood later this year. Our little boy is due around Thanksgiving later this year, and I can't wait
We found out roughly 12 hours before leaving for Fiji, so here's a little teaser shot from the beach.

And oh yeah, your life will NEVER be the same after the little one arrives... Muahahahahahahahaha! Oh, wait that came out wrong it was supposed to be "You''ll enjoy every minute of parenting!" <grin>

<LCF> "There is ALWAYS another day to dive, as long as you get home today."

Thanks for the kind words everyone. We are super excited about this, and while it may curtail my diving to some degree, rest assured I will not give up on it! Also rest assured that I will be posting plenty of pics of the little squirt to Facebook
Congratulations. Love the picture. (I also love Fiji.) During my daddy years, I cut back on my diving to coach soccer, lead Scout trips, drive to music lessons, and so forth. No regrets. Now I see my sons going through the same. While I miss having them for dive buddies, my love for my grandkids trumps it all. My prayer is that your adventures in fatherhood will be as rewarding as mine have been.
