Snake at 150'

Post by lamont »

Dove deadman's/lobstershop today and found a critter at 150 that looked like a snake. Very thin and slender (kinda like a bay pipefish), nearly a foot long, predominantly translucent and small head and nose, and slithered through the water the way a snake moves. Looked more snake that fish, but didn't look wormy.

And I feel like I've seen one of these before...

Ideas?

(naturally all the video equipment was trolling me today so i didn't bring any...)

talking to laura, sounds like we've had this conversation before, but not about the 2007 sighting either, so this must be my 3rd-plus sighting of a quillfish...

good that we've got this board here, because my memory is lousy...

If you'd justbstop diving deep air, you'd also stop seeing "quillfish" or whatever. Just sayin'.

until i get through mod 2 helium is just too expensive to dive now -- the psychedelic effects are fun though... wriggling snakes... eight legged monsters...
