Cove 2, yesterday, was beautiful! At least 30 feet, up until the end of the dive where the incoming tide seemed to bring in a little haze. Still tons of sea lettuce on the bottom, and an incredible amount of life.

Just got back from diving there and viz was pretty good today!
~20ft of viz once you get below about 5ft. Fresh water 'haze' on the surface, but real nice otherwise.

Old Air Force Pier at Mukilteo 11/15/12. Once below the surface soup, at about 20 ft of depth, the horizontal vis was 40 feet or more. I could see all of the way across at the end of the pier.

Three Tree was a solid 40' this afternoon, a bit less when the wind was from the NW.

Loving the viz this time of year and find myself complaining when it is 'only' 20'.

Hi. My name is Tom, and I am a viz snob.

Three Tree today was flat, calm, and clear. Viz was easily over 40'. It was nice to be back...

Hey - keep those reports coming! This thread has value when we remember to contribute to it, becoming both a great planning tool and a historical record of bus over time.

Hood canal - Sund Rock, stunning vis. Could see whole little wreck from well off the stern (and clearly end to end) from just beneath the freshwater layer). I would guess an easy 40+. Ambient light at depth was insane, 90-100 seemed like 40. Even the locals were remarking on the great conditions :)

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been able to dive for the last two weeks because of bronchitis, and now it's raining, so all the great viz will be totally silted out. I'll be quietly fuming at having missed the opportunity as I'm diving in Maui for the next week or so.

:boucegreen: :boucegreen: Oooooo..... I LOVE Sund when it gets aquarium like viz!!!!

Maybe I can arrange to head up there Monday - hopefully the rain won't mess things up. Anyone want to go to Sund on Monday?

Old Air Force fuel pier Mukilteo 12-7. Much of the dive it was 5 ft vis. At the end of the pier is was 15 ft vis. The tide was quite high, as shown by the photo at the t-dock entrance.
