LTB 2 HP steel tanks

Post by Alaska-Herb »

Looking for a couple of HP steel tanks. I would prefer 119 or 130 but would consider 100's. I am actually coordinating a trip to the area so there would not be any shipping issues, but becasue I am flying in I need to be able to grab 2 at the same time. They do not need to be a set.

Yes I know HP steel tanks are hard to come by but I thought I would ask. So if you have a deal for me let me know

Thanks
Herb-

There are a couple 119s for sale down here in Portland. We could probably arrange a way to get them to you when you're in Seattle.

For what used tanks are going for have you thought of buying new?

It doesn't seem like you save much and when you factor in time and gas to drive to get them.

Actually. Don I have. But being in Alaska we have that special feature of shipping. Shops are estimating about 140 per tank to ship so 440x2= 880 + 140x2= 280 =1160 if I could pick up 2 tanks in the 275 to 300 range I would be able to spend the week end and visit a friend and still come out ahead.

Living in Alaska bites big time when it comes to shipping
