Howdy from Eugene, OR

Post by 2muchtq »

While I am not certified yet.... I am going to be a diver.

I am taking my OW course through ESDS. Joel McCowan is my instructor. May19-20 is my checkout dives. We are going to dive back to back freshwater dives early Sat morning in Woahink lake. Then about 4 ish we are diving the salt off the north jetty (Florence)

Then Sunday early, we'll finish off in Woahink.

I have a TON of questions (gear, gear, gear.... and all on a budget) but I'll save those for another thread.

Thanks everyone
Mark

Welcome Mark! \:D/ If you go back through the gear forum, you'll find LOTS of information there and answers to many of the questions we've all had. If you don't find what you're looking for, post your question and we'll descend on you with all our differing opinions!

Glad you found us! :partyman: :bounce:

Mark:

Good to have you on board.

Although not really "Local", I too call ESDS my LDS. They are two hard hours away for me, but they are well worth the drive. I will be diving with them at Mike's next week.

Good luck with your cert dives.

Tom:

You haven't gotten out of this yet. I am still going to come knocking at your door, for a dive soon. \:D/

And, I am anxious to see your new camera. Calvin says the jury is still out between the 1000 and the 1050.

I know one thing. His 1000 pictures were great and both of you are taking great pictures on the 1050, so I guess I can't go wrong.

Still, I am going to wait a little and get reports from both of you, after you have used them a little longer.
