My wife, Konni and I, went on a dive trip to Belize. This is our first time to Belize, and our second trip to the Caribbean. Viz was 70 to 100 feet every day. Loads of nurse sharks and sea turtles - and many, many green moray eels. My two favorite dives were a night dive a Hol Chan marine reserve. This area is a channel between the inside (protected) and outside (ocean side) of the actual reef. It's only 30 feet deep and chock full of life. We watched an PC Octo for about five minutes out in the open - gracefully moving about and changing colors - absolutely wonderful stuff. I got some pretty good video that I'll post at a later time. Second favorite dive was lighthouse reef. This area is between Belize and the Blue Hole. These are deeper canyons with more pelagics (eagle rays, Caribbean Reef sharks, etc.)
present and again - lots of life - the corals here are bigger and more prevalent. Cannot wait to return to this reef area.
Learned a lot about different cleaner shrimp and the different anemones that they inhabit. Wish I had spent more macro time enjoying the small stuff - there is some much to see and appreciate... I guess there is always next time!
Following are a couple of my pics for the dive!

Great pictures Keith! Glad you and Connie had a great time in that warm and CLEAR water. Ours has gone to dark down past 60'. Good to have you back. I know you'll love the conditions here after that terrible stuff you were in
It's a good day.... nobody died!
