Old Coffee Can light...

Post by Scubak »

I have this light that works as of my last dive with it...A long time ago, in a sea, far, far away...
It has an extra bulb that at the time was 100$
I'm wondering if anyone can use it, perhaps for parts or something...
Can Dusty use it?
Let me know or if you have any ideas on how to recycle it...that would be okay as well.
Thanks,
Kirsten

So what does it look like? I will be at the club dive Saturday if you want to bring it by.

I've been looking for a 1270 powered light or can. But, to be honest, I'm not willing to pay a great deal for it.

If you're willing to mail it up to Sitka, I'd give a 100 bucks for it.

That's assuming Dusty passes on it first. :smt064

Scubak,

Just so I'm being fair.... The parts for those lights are easily obtainable and the 1270 batteries are inexpensive. It would probably be worth your time to bring it to the club dive since a new diver would likely be willing to make that their entry level can light.

Hope you don't recycle it just yet, as there is a lot of potential there.

Hey if your willing to give her some bucks for it, have at it. It doesn't look like it would interest me.

Hi Kirsten,

I didn't get a PM yet, so I'll e-mail you. You can keep the battery, I have a bunch.

Did you bring it to the club dive? I'm surprised you didn't get any takers down there.

Cheers and Thank You,

Dave
