Diversion Warning!!!
Was down in JNO for the Rotary convention. You folks really treated us NICE. Sunny skies, warm weather for all the days. Even brought a missile cruiser in town for a tour! Now that was interesting.
Now back to your regular programming.

Did you stop by the shop while you were here? I might have been available to dive but I spent 4 days under this:ArcticDiver wrote:Was down in JNO for the Rotary convention. Ha! No kidding? I saw how she went aground- were you trying to patch her up, Dave?

We saw her floating??? there. It didn't take a lot of imagination to guess that management had done a very good PR job about the danger level. At least it brought you an opportunity for some extra business. Guess almost all clouds have a silver(gold) lining, eh?
Nope, didn't bring my gear this time. I knew I'd be stuck in the conference. As I said I did play hookey for a couple hours and toured the Bunker Hill since it was moored right across the street.
Next time, I dive.

Re: Creative Entries
You've got me scratching my head to remember a guy I once dove with who could do back flip entries with a single tank and dry suit. Never saw him succeed with doubles though.Pez7378 wrote:Im a little disappointed that I never learned those entries. Tom-Nic and I dove with Diver_Dave and all of his entries were head first!
I'm not kidding, that is his regular entry.
I believe the back flip was his Son.
I actually tried it one time{Head first off the boat} as Dave instructed me how to successfully do it.
It was easy and fun!
I wouldn't have tried it with out proper instruction.
I would recommend, no one else should experiment with this technique.
You should go up to Sitka and I'm sure Dave will show you this special entry, even with a large camera and stobe in hand. It is really quite something to see. You Rock Dave!
Can't wait to go on a Charter and be brave enough to do it just to see thier reaction.
