Port Townsend Dives

Post by Dusty2 »

Hey guys, it's almost time to head back up to PT, The 13th is my birthday and the current gods have allowed a nice current window that week. I'll be heading up on the 12th to dive for 4 or 5 days. I won't have my new suit by then but I have borrowed one that I hope will do the job.

For those that might be free this week has some good days too.

Mid-week is a killer for me Dusty, but I'll see what I can do, would love to do a dive up there with you.

Which dives are you looking at doing?

I may be able to hop on up on Mon/Tues?
What are the times to dive those days...
Tim and I could try and find a spot at Ft. Worden.

Monday is out for me, booked in the AM and then going for my first 100'+ dive that eve.

Tues. morning is booked too, so that's out.

Weds. morn is a definite possibility, If so, I'll shoot up Tues night, camp-out and meet you for a 9:20.

Hey you guys are in luck! I had to call off next weeks diving so I have rescheduled for the 27th through the first. Nicer looking set of tides too and maybe the viz will clear by then.

Not luck, Dusty. I special ordered that weekend for Diamond Knot and Crane diving. Maybe I will hook up with you for a dive while I'm up there!

The 30th and the 31 should be decent if I can get a campsite. Weekends are bad this time of year. I have a site till the 29th but I have to vacate it on the 30th.

We've got a small lot over on Marrowstone, you can come camp with us Fri-Mon.

We have water/electrical/porta-potti and a small kitchen shed.

No big trailers or RVs unless you are one hell of a driver.

I have a 19ft trailer so thats pretty much out. I have gotten out of some real tight spots but I never intentionally put myself into them. :nutty:

I should be good for diving on the 30th and 31st. Other dates TBD but kind of unlikely.
