Hood Canal for the weekend

Post by deep diver »

Last couple of weeks has been great diving on the canal, finally got around to posting some pictures.
The water is starting to get a little murky but clears up nice past 70'.
Still a lot of life ... including these baby wolf eels, which are about 10' apart and could be brothers as they are about the same size.. but why is one red and the other has brown spots?
Found another red one out in deeper water that is about 3 times the size as these guys.
Today was the day for grunts as they seemed to be everywhere.... and the last of our cockerels as they seem to be dwindling

Very nice. I really like the guy with the spots. How cool to see that Grunt in the sponge.
