Found GoPro

Anybody lose a GoPro camera in the Les Davis/Ruston Way area? We found one during a night dive at Harbor Lights/Dickman Mill. It appears to have been there for a while. Tell me something about it and I will be delighted to get it back to you.

It was a great dive; we have a chance to reunite someone with a lost piece of gear, AND we saw our first-ever market squid. Definitely an underrated site.

Looking at some of the video on this camera, it appears to have been lost there at the Dickman Mill site. There's a lot of video of the user and a snorkeler getting ready to go. I'm going to try and listen to the audio and see if I can catch a name, but in the meantime, if you were there and lost your GoPro, please let me know so I can return it to you.

Follow-up: if it's your camera and you think it's not worth the bother, guess what: it still works. In fact, there's still some juice in the battery, believe it or not. I'd really like to get it back to you. Contact me.

Maybe a screen grab of the snorkeler? Someone here might know them...

maybe post a flier at the local dive shop.. or post it in the found section on Craigs list, worst case, keep it and use it

I'll try to get a screen grab. In the meantime, the video that was on it is dated August 5. So it's been down there for a few months.

It could be Mike's ( Macdiver ) He lost one 3-4 months ago in that area.

Yes, this sounds to be my Go Pro!!!

was out in that area with my stepson he had snorkel gear and wetsuit on as we were practicing free diving at the time. lost it and searched for it several times, but please contact me - on the board or PM me for my cell phone #.
