Exciting dives

Post by YellowEye »

Hi
Question for all

a) do you have any particularly exciting dives coming up that you've planned? Spill it here
b) are there any cool dives you want to do in the next 3-6 which you've not yet made arrangements for?

I'd be interested to know what people are doing/thinking

I've got two shots at diving the Admiral Sampson coming up. That wreck has eluded me so far....

Hmm, this month Possession Point Ferry, Onamac Point Reef, several Fischnaller dives such as Washington Park.
April, Florida cave diving.
May, Lake Chelan, Titan Missile Silo, Clear Lake (avoid crappy puget sound viz)
June, 11 dive weekend in the San Juan's
Aug, Neah Bay, Diamond Knot, Dungenous Crane

And in between will be hitting dives out of the Bliss book.

Heading out tomorrow to do the Socorros -- mantas and hammerheads!

I want to get out and do some more dives off Don Coleman's boat. I like boat diving, and I haven't dived Hood Canal enough to be tired of it :)

I really want to do the Diamond Knot. I need to hunt down a trip to that.

Wow, looks like there are some very cool dives planned. I haven't even heard of all those dives, thanks for sharing!

For me
a) I have Port Hardy and Deception Pass planned in April, and Neah Bay in Aug. Can't wait.
b) I want to get back out to watermans' wall, salt creek, and the san juan islands. And i'll take any excuse to go to point hudson, keystone, skyline, or day island. Ideally one or more of these at night. If you're interested, let me know :)

Currently planning a family trip to Iceland in late August to dive Strytan hydrothermal vent, do some sight seeing, and maybe dive the Silfra rift too. Am booked on a 10 day liveaboard in late Oct/Nov that goes from the north end of the Sea of Cortez to the south end, ending at Cabo San Lucas. Would love to do a trip to God's Pocket. Got a brochure on a return trip to Puerto Galera in the Philippines that we are seriously considering. It's nice to be moving toward retirement.

Port Hardy blew my mind. It's an amazing place. Which dive op?

I'm also planning on doing a Neah Bay trip in the early summer - Not sure on the dates yet but it would be on a weekend with good tides. It would be a family friendly trip - let me know if your interested.......
