Spearfishing

Hi I'm from Olympia wa I'm moving back to oly from Hawaii and need some people to go free dive spearfishing with I can get down to 30 ft for two to three minets. Please any help would be awsome cuz it will be my first time spearing in Washington thanks

There isn't much to fish for in WA. Not to mention the viz conditions are not very good for such things. During the spring months above 30' you'll be lucky to see the end of your spear.

There are lots of spots to spear fish, but as a free diver its very tough for places to go.. my best advice to go is neah bay jetty, it's a long drive, but a great shot for what your looking for.

There is a pretty active group of local free divers that go by the name of Bottom sounders. They are on yahoo groups. They go to Neah Bay fairly often and they could give you some pointers on local opportunities.
