¡Hola de Mexico!
It has been awhile since I've posted anything. Actually, I haven't posted much since I moved from the cold, emerald green water of the PNW to the warm (not always tropical warm depending on the time of year), blue/green (again, depending on the time of year) waters of the Sea of Cortez. I've been working a lot down here, but I've have had plenty of chances to get out and do some diving and shoot some video.
This time I have a video from the Wreck of the Salvatierra and the reef that she hit, Swanee Reef. Both dive sites are in the San Lorenzo Channel, in between the "mainland" of the Baja peninsula and Isla Espiritu Santo. Both are also fantastic dives IMHO! Check it out!
Hasta luego,

Thanks for the nice video. I've been on that wreck twice - it is a nice dive. Will hopefully do it again this fall - doing a liveaboard that runs the entire length of the Sea of Cortez in 10 days, Rocky Point to Cabo San Lucas.

Magoi, are you doing the Rocio del Mar trip? If so, I am officially envious. I would love to do one of those, but they book up a couple of years in advance.

I am on the Rocio del Mar trip in late October. I was at the dive expo a couple years ago with my dive buddies. Saw the booth, told my buddies about the trip, and we talked to the Rocio people. We ended up booking the whole boat 2 years ahead, so we have been waiting a while for this trip. We figured we could fill it up with friends and family, and we did. Will post a trip report.LCF wrote:Magoi, are you doing the Rocio del Mar trip? If so, I am officially envious. I would love to do one of those, but they book up a couple of years in advance.
