MY 500th dive!!!

Yay! Finally made it to 500!
Had 2 fantastic dives with Bob Lew yesterday. We went to Cove 2 and while viz still isn't great we saw a lot of stuff-including about 6 million Opalescent Nudibranchs-they were everywhere!

Happy 500th Jawgia Lou! Wish I could have been there instead of sleeping off work and getting ready to go back for more. Sigh...

That's a big accomplishment, even more so when you consider the six hour round trip drive you do to go diving!

I've never heard of this one. 1 M&M per dive seems like a lot better than the naked dunk you're supposed to do for your 100th.

I'll carry some M&M's so I can "pay" you the next time I see you.

100 dives / 1 naked dunk = 500 dives / x

(Sorry - I'm about to take the GMAT. Everything is a test question in my head right now)

May I say:

You've come a LONG WAY, baby!!!!

Having known you since....well, what dive number was that current-swept Fish ID dive we did at Sunrise? - I'd say since then you've developed into quite the little diving machine and Fish ID Queen!

That was March of 2002, and 437 dives ago for me - not sure what number it was for you, but I think it was pretty close to your beginnings!

I am honored to count you as not only a dive buddy, but a friend.

Way to go, Georgia!!!

Janna,
Those current swept, don't touch me, chicken wing dives were my first 2 dives after certification so yep, you've seen me from the beginning-all the good, the bad, and the extremely embarrassingly ugly. I really attribute your (along with a couple others) mentoring to be the largest contributing factor which has made me the diver & fish ID geek-I mean Queen-I am today. So, thank you so much for everything dive-related and beyond that you have added to my life. Diving has added so much to my life including the many friends that I've made along the way. Can't imagine my life now without you & Claude & Valerie & Jackie and all the other buddies that have become friends.

Thanks everyone for the congrats. Can't wait for the next 500.
