I am as well.

I probably won't get there till closer to noon, but will try to get there as soon as I can.

I will do two dives, then back home to rinse, dry, and pack my gear for Israel!

No Nitrox at mikes but he do have all the Air you can breath

he also ask that you have your tanks filled by I belive it was 7:00 pm for your night diving pleasure

Sadly I am not going to be makeing it up for the trip at all I guess i have to sit this one out but i am plning to make a trip back up north soon maybe some time middle of next month for a late Birth day dive well just have to see

Sund Rock is only about 15 miles away. That's a rather small haul... Pretty sure will be diving Sund Friday afternoon, before checking in. But, yes, there is diving right there at Mike's so definitely will be taking advantage of that. I could see doing a night dive after Friday dinner. New dive sites are cool! Have no idea where I will be diving rest of weekend, but do know I will be diving!

Diane and I will be able to come up on Friday and Saturday night again this year. We will be staying at Rest Awhile both nights. I am going to bring the "Scuba Kat" Zodiac up again like last year. If you want to go out on Saturday or Sunday let me know. I will be launching out of Triton Cove just 2 miles away. If you have never dove some of the boat dives in the Canal it is a blast. Every thing from Shear Walls to artifical reefs. Looking forward to seing you all again.

Mostly divers and about 5 non-divers,

Saturday dinner:
Turky's - Bassman
Chilli? - Maverick

Dogs and Haburgers - Bnboly
Potato Salad - Sounder
Pasta Salad - Cera
Vegie Tray - Sounder
Chips & Dinner Rolls - divernick
Desert - Diver-C
B'day Cake - Cera
Ketsup, Mustard and Pasta Salad- Aquanautchuck (Chuck)
Everyone, bring your own...
Beverages
Plates & Plastic Ware or silverware, Napkins & cups.
Food for other personal meals at your convienence.
{I think we agree that trying to plan more than one meal around all of the diving gets complicated.}

What we still need...

Butter Spread
Miracle Whip
Salt & Pepper
Onions
Cheese
Sour Cream {if we have chilli}
Alaskan King Crab leggs? Anyone? (JKidding)

Not sure how many people are coming with Maverick

My plans have changed slightly from my previous post.

I am looking to go up as early as I can find a dive buddy on Friday to get an early start on the diving. (8 AM? 9 AM? Other?) I want to do 4 dives on Friday before heading home Friday evening... (of course it doesn't have to be all with the same person!)

I'm looking for a dive buddy or 3 for Friday morning! Bnboly, are you still heading up Friday AM? I sent you a PM. Bassman and Sounder are arriving later Friday.

Any other takers?

Tom - I didn't have a specific time in mind for getting there. I can be there as early or late as I need to be. I suppose if we shot for 9am, that would mean I wouldn't have to get up at the crack of dawn.

Let's shoot for 9 AM then! $\:D/$ If Bnboly is able to come early enough he can join us for the first dive, if not, then he can catch us for the second!

I have not been to Mike's before... shouldn't be hard to find.

Does anyone know if it's OK to show up that early?

Tom I belive you can start showing up pretty much as early as you like
and do your check in after your first dive thats usaly what I do at least

nd befor I forget Sounder I am sending you a PM Mikes Beach Resort is looking for a list of names for the folks staying in the doorm

so they can get our group all in the same place

have fun guys some one make a dive for me
and make sure you have a bowl of mav's Chilie with sour cream and onion for me .

sorry I cant be there guys but I am going to make it to the winter trip
for sure .

hope every one has a good time and takes lots of pictures

Sparky, it will not be the same without you. I guess I won't see any six gills this year. We need to hook up some Sunday and do Nehalem Bay for crab and clams.
