Somebody please buy this, my if-only-it-was-two-foot-bigger affliction is starting to kick in.

Buy it, and I'll bring back the next time I'm down in San Diego :)
The ocean is a lousy teacher. First you get a test, then the lesson.

You said you were looking for a good deal on a RIB - This boat has your name all over it! Granted, I have no idea about the inboard diesel thing but a 22 ft RIB for $17k could be a screaming deal.

Tubes will be huge, you'll need a ladder.
Inboard takes up a ton of interior room.
Heavy as hell, needs a full ton to haul it. Might be overwidth with the tubes inflated.
On the other hand, will be super fun to haul ass in a small craft advisory.

It looks like the engine compartment is only about a foot off the deck so the engine area would still be usable space.

The tubes are huge for sure but It Wouldn't be to difficult to mount a Garelick to the transom.

Definitely too much for my 4Runner to haul. KneeDeep needs to buy it, he has a big honkin Dodge truck with a Cummins Turbo Diesel.

Outfitted correctly that would be one kick-ass Puget Sound dive boat.
