Howdy Folks

Who's up for ThThTh on 1/14?

Derek and Dave have a dive planned @ cove2 Thursday to look for seals: http://nwdiveclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=25078

That may be a long way for people coming from Olympa, etc. Are the 'southern folk' hoping on attending this week? Let's have the main dive @ Redondo if so.

Im in for Redondo. Cove 2 is too far for me to make it. If you guys decide to hit Cove 2 its ok.

I vote to do Redondo for the main dive. The warbonnet area in cove 2 has a feisty ling hanging out right now and I don't feel like fighting him off! Plus -- lumpies at Redondo! And we saw a seal last week at TTN.

Sorry Dave and Derek, catch you next time. Have a great dive! Hope you see a seal!

Seriously, I mostly want to dive with the whole group and I get so few Thur's free I don't want to miss out. I'll hit up Cove2 with Derek on the weekend.

So we did see a seal at TTN, and we are waiting on H2O Doc and Stephens videos of that. I dove Cove 2 last weekend, and didnt find a single warbonnet. We did find the young wolf eel at the rock pile, and some neoprene clad silt monsters too, tho I didnt get a photo of any of those...

I didn't get any footage of the seal from last week. Was setup for macro. I've attached a GoPro to my bluefin housing, so now I'll be ready for everything small or large! Cue the grey whales!

So i am throwing my hat in the ring for diving tonight. One question is this a 1 or 2 dive night? I am assuming 1 dive which means all you mr heater fans will be disappointed as I do not want to drag everything out for 1 dive. Besides Eric promised me Lumpies.

I'm feeling a little under the weather today. Won't make it tonight. Hope to see you all next week. I'm up for two dives if that's what it takes to bring Mr Heater out.

I think it will be one dive and then beer and food.

I totally agree, I only had 24 dives last year and 6 were in the Philippines. However, my weight has gone up and this is another reason to get off my butt and lose weight or I am not going to get into my drysuit or put on my right fin.

I had a lot more dives than that last year, and I still cant put my right fin on!

Yeh to put up a canopy and drag it all there, then tear it down in the end I would prefer 2 dives.
