Anybody been diving in the last day or two and can give current viz info? We are contemplating heading up there from Portland for a couple of dives on Wednesday. BUT, considering it's the day before Xmas eve the drive back to Portland has the potential of taking extra long. I really want to be able to get in a couple of good dives. Don't need stellar viz but at least good enough to want to do a second dive and have it be worth the possible 5 hour drive home. We haven't decided on a site yet but thinking either Redondo or Sund Rock depending on where the better viz might be. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

The viz at Cove 2 yesterday was 15 ft max, a little less shallower than about 30 ft. Did not go below 80 ft. I think the critters thought it was night time.

About 10 feet viz down at 70 feet at Redondo. Pretty hazy above that but still a lot of fun. Saw lots of Octos at the bottle fields and piles of Seacucumbers at like 40 feet.
Thanks to Bradmond & HoodSport Diver for the great time! :)

Three Tree was a hazy 20' this morning.

It "feels" like it's right on the verge of getting good. Perhaps if the rain holds off some more and the rivers stop flowing quite so strongly.

At the yellow house, viz in the shallows is horrid, big freshwater layer. Even down deeper hazy, but not bad if you have beefy lights
