Blakely Rock 6/26
Took another trip to Blakely Rock with JPA, Gdog and Scubie. It was sunny and super warm with okay viz and stronger than expected currents. Perhaps 15 feet of viz with lots of particulate. There were lots of egg laying nudis around and a very large, cooperative war bonnet. Many pregnant rock fish were hanging out as well. I finally finished the job of losing my dive computer I started on the last trip.
Here are a few grabs from the video:

Re: Blakely Rock 6/26
Thank you so much for accommodating us. JPA is the bomb!!!
Here are a few of my favorites, I still have 100+ pics to sort through :-) but these caught my eye.
This isn't the best pic, a bit noisy. It was a tiny tiny nudibranch. I didn't even know what it was when I first saw it. I tried to clean it up a little to get an ID.
Have a great week everyone. Be safe out there. Peace!

I'm thinking that your tiny little nudibranch in the last photo is a Eubranchus rupium. The cerata don't have the grape-cluster look of a Doto, and there are flecks of white. That suggests rupium. But that's just a guess. These tiny guys can drive you crazy!

Jonny come lately...finally got a chance to go thru the shots from this dive. A couple standouts, hope you like them;
This is the same little fellow that Jesse had on the mirror. He certainly seemed to like his picture taken! Lots of these guys, very tiny Thats all I had time for tonite...It was an awesome dive, and a great time.

Like them? Heck yeah. I love the nudi. The positioning is great and I like the colorful speckles on the kelp. And you also got a shot of the little "star of the day."

Nice shots Gdog. I'm sure that mosshead is blind now! Great colors and the nudi is quite artistic.
