Vashon island WSA dive site
Vashon island WSA dive site
So there I was. Trolling for salmon at the south end of Vashon island east of the Tahlequah ferry terminal, when I noticed a WSA dive buoy just like the one at KVI. My imaging sonar was going nuts and painting me a picture of a large, very dynamic reef. Anyone have any info on this sight? Looks like it would have some crazy currents there.

That's Dalco Wall

It's a great divesite but the currents can be wicked. You need to be very careful when in planning your dive.

I've dove Dalco Wall a few times from the Bandito chatter when conditions were favorable. It's a fun site that gets pretty deep if that's what you want to do. Lots of structure from big clay slabs, usually tons of shrimp and plenty of other marine life. Captain Rick knows how to do it really well, but it's a somewhat more advanced dive due to the depth.

Thanks all for the info. I look forward to diving it sometime when the tides are right!
