Been dry too long -- where to get gear serviced on the east side?

Been dry too long -- where to get gear serviced on the east side?

Post by Matt S. »

I am embarrassed to admit how long it has been since I have been wet, or even been here! Before I dare even get into a puddle to do drills, I need to get my gear serviced, though. Besides needing regulator maintenance, I also need to get some seals replaced on my suit. Cylinders need a vis for sure and quite possibly a hydro, but anywhere that I'd trust with regs and seals can handle that.

I live on the east side, and while closer is nicer, I am not opposed to taking a drive for the right shop. I would love your suggestions... Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Many thanks in advance!

(I still miss NWSD.)

I am on the dry side too.

Both Atlantis Aquatic in Spokane Valley and Jake's Scuba in CDA should be able to do the work.

Personally I take my suits to Tacoma Scuba. I have a local place do the hydro, since that is what a shop is going to do anyhow. I do my own VIS (yes I have the cert). I do my own regulators.

Sorry, by east side I meant Seattle's east side. :)

I take my stuff to Underwater Sports in Bellevue, others may have other shops that they use but I've had good experiences there

Lighthouse has a shop in Seattle. I dive out of the Tacoma store, but when I get my gear serviced stuff that the local shop can't do gets sent up to either their Seattle or Lynwood stores depending on which service technician needs to deal with it.
