We had a great turn out for ThThTh 9/7 with seven divers for Splash #1 and eight for Splash #2. Conditions were very nice with a high tide enabling an easy stairway entry and good vis. At the end of the pier there was about 20' vertical vis all the way to the bottom, reducing to maybe 15' horizontal vis down at 80fsw. The usual menagerie of critters was to be found from White Lined Dirona, Red Octos, Baby Wolfeels, Sailfin Sculpin, and the neighborhood Decorated Warbonnet.
Not making an appearance was the "mythical" Six Gill Shark, a fabled fish that I am convinced is related to the Loch Ness Monster despite the regular appearance of cleverly faked videos perpetuating the Six Gill Hoax.
