Mukilteo GeoDome damage

Post by TCWestby »

I was at Mukilteo and noticed that a crossbrace on the lowert west side had been crushed. It is still in tact but figure someone should know since I haden't noticed it before.

I'm hoping this is the right forum to get the message out.

I was disapointed in the geodome...I think it would be cooler if it was in mid-water. Drag it out another 20yards so you can't see the bottom from the center of the dome.

Come diving with us next week and we can show you. It's actually started getting some life on it.

Maybe I need to wear a football helmet 24/7, or my folks dropped me on my head 1 too many times while a baby... but I think it is kind of cool.

Going back to the cartoons now, I think marine boy is on.....

I think the first time Kevin and I dropped on it, it had been there for a week or so. Nothing much living on it, and Kevin was disappointed that it was anchored to the bottom instead of a "free floating" kind of thing.

The intrevening months have added quite a bit of life to it. While I still have personal issues with the way in which the geodome was placed, it does seem to be attracting more life to the area around the T-dock.

seems like lots of sites are accumulating damage....

Just this week a big part of the honeybear collapsed -- an 8x3foot portion of the freestanding wall fell over :(

Scott has been diving a lot lately, dive sites are suffering as a result.

Coincidence? I think not.
