Redondo on Dec 6th was a hazy 25'. Not spectacular, but not bad!

Three Tree on Dec 11th in the dark, rainy, and windy was a quite nice 30'+ under the waves!

Keystone on 12-21-18 after a week of crazy storms was 8 to 10'. I want to see this site in good viz! Still awesome....

Sunday 1/20/19. Keystone Jetty in the morning was 10 to maybe a dirty 15ft. Skyline in the pm was a silty 5 to barely 10 ft at the end of the flood. Deeper and farther out in the channel it teased 15ft luckily. Currents at both sites were running a bit stronger than the predictions. I blame the bloody wolf moon!
Sund Rock on Monday 1-21 above 40 fsw was pretty bad, with tons of particulate in the water no doubt from the flooding rivers. The halocline was thick and 15' deep. Below 40 fsw viz was nice, 20-25', the place to spend as much of your time as your computer would allow!

60south wrote:What are these particulates, anyway? Not sure it's from runoff as we haven't had much lately
I was referring to the particulate in Hood Canal, which is definitely River runoff

Keystone, Sunday 2/17. Hazy 15 ft shallower, decent 20 ft at the end of the jetty and the barnacle reefs. Even better were the pleasantly cooperative currents and all the nasty crabs (Tiss the season for lithoid crabs lol)
Redondo April 2nd was 20 to 30' depending... really nice and really happy that the Spring algae bloom has not started!

Redondo on April 9 was 10'-15' by the MaST center (maybe due to the low tide, recent rain and outfall there), but closer to 20'-25' a bit farther north.
