Bottles on Beach

Post by RVbldr »

For newer divers - if you see a smaller scuba bottle on the beach or up against the rocks, please leave it. If it seems to be getting loose from rocks, just prop it back against the rocks or slightly higher on the beach. It is not lost and the diver is most likely nearby!

May I recommend a sign? though I have not seen one recently (as a kid I have), I imagine there are other non-divers that may walk off with it thinking it lost. Did you have this happen!? Something like, "This SCUBA tank is not lost, Please do not move it for my safety. Thank you. -Your name" I'm always paranoid of surface dwellers with good intentions, some without and sticky fingers.

Good Post!
