Drysuit, Heavy Duty, Men's Large $200

Post by 60south »

This is a Viking ProAm 1050 drysuit, size Large. Boot size is maybe size 11-12. It's heavy duty, really heavy duty.

I bought it as a spare suit from a fire department but decided it's a tad bit too short for me (I'm 5'11", 220lbs). Anyway... It needed a new zipper, so I used it as a practice drysuit for replacing a zipper.

What you get:

Monster heavy duty drysuit (with a new zipper!), leak-tested and ready to go.
Almost-new cuff seals (not trimmed), neck seal (lightly trimmed), and dry hood (not trimmed).
Virtually new boots.
Viking cuff rings. I added these, and will keep them if you don't want them.
Apeks valves.
Used DUI fleece undergarments, top and bottom, and some oversized insulated booties.
Nifty Viking storage bag that holds everything.
Free shipping, or $50 less if you pick it up in Port Townsend.
Did I mention a new zipper? Never wet, except for the leak test.

Holy Cow. If it's in the condition you represent that's a really good deal to the right person. nearly unbeatable. Those are rugged suits.
Ripper of drysuits, mocker of divers...there are no atheist divers in a mistimed Deception Pass dive. Jeremy

It's indestructible. The valves and cuff rings alone are worth the price. I just need to make some space...

Also listed on Craigslist for more.

I am very interested, but at 6ft 180lb, I'm a little worried about the fit. Where would you say it's short on you?

I will attest to 60south's claim on condition for gear. Recently got a BCD from him in excellent shape. I'm a little jealous this suit isn't just a wee bit taller... I'd snatch it up. (I'm 6'5'')

It's short on the inseam. Torso is plenty long.
