Craigslist deals
Re: Craigslist deals
Like-new Olympus TG-6 underwater camera housing: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pho/ ... 11221.html
Bought for a family member but they ended up not needing it (and was too late to return the housing). I have one myself and love it! From what I've read it sounds like the TG-6 housing is still backwards-compatible if you have a TG-5

Re: Craigslist deals
You’re correct! The housing fits the TG-5 or 6!carter.j wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 2:20 pm Like-new Olympus TG-6 underwater camera housing: seattle.craigslist.org/see/pho/d/seattl ... 11221.html

So, I have been talking to this person on Craigslist about the ad. They sent me the following additional information (wasn't in the ad itself):
"Everything is XL size. My husband is 6'2'' 220lbs. We really want to sell all of it. My husband is ill and hasn't dived since 2007. All gear has been stored in house and is in perfect condition.
One mask is prescription and don't see make on it. The other is US divers.
DUI suit is CF 200 series 2003. Serial # 21963. Seals and zipper are perfect. Seals are latex.
Spear gun is swim master.
Regulater is oceanic. Has delto guages and computer is oceanic. Octo is US divers.
BCD's are seaquest and US divers.
Light has a dual light bulb. Brand is UK D8."
Figured the community may be able to help a fellow out. I'm unable to float the costs right now for the lot.

I don't know these folks personally, so I am posting this in hopes that we can spread some good karma their way in their time of need. I asked if they'd be willing to separate the items and didn't get a direct "no".

Re: Craigslist deals
good stuff. i wish i had some extra money
Re: Craigslist deals
Hey folks. Long time since I posted as I moved out of the country. I'm back in town working on clearing out my storage unit as I won't bother to move most of this stuff (not sure I could get my tanks hydro/vized in Europe as I am not sure they use the same standards...i.e. these tanks are stamped DOT).
Lots of stuff. I would prefer to make a very very good deal for everything than meeting with 20 people. I am more interested in these going to a good home where they will get used/appreciated rather than getting market value out of stuff. So ignore the craigslist prices. There is also more than is on craigslist (unused harness kits, backplates, STAs, wings, etc).
I acquired a lot of stuff when I saw deals over the years because I got a lot of friends into diving and would help kit them out with quality stuff for cheap if they got into it. So if you are an instructor or divemaster or whatever that is doing something similar (getting people into diving and keeping it affordable rather than trying to make money), I would be happy to hear from you.
If you really only want some of these items for yourself, make me an offer for everything and you can keep what you want and sell the rest during scuba season to more than cover your costs.
