Si tech pull over glove system
Si tech pull over glove system
Trying to mount the permanent rings to my Bare D6 crushed neoprene drysuit. Had the LDS natal them and they leak like crazy whether I am wearing dry gloves or not. Anyone have suggestions for installing? Thinking about trimming my drysuit so I can glue to the outside of the ring. The LDS glued the suit originally on the inside of the ring which squished the neoprene between the inner and outer ring. I originally went this direction for the quick change out of the wrist seals and pull over dry gloves. Is this the wrong system for my neoprene dry suit?
Re: Si tech pull over glove system
I have the same type rings (also known as Viking rings) installed on my DUI trilam drysuit. In my case, I installed the rings directly on the latex wrist seals rather on the drysuit itself. I've had zero issues with the pullover gloves leaking in my case.

Yeah I am thinking the way you are using the system may be the better way to go. I originally wanted the rings glued in so I could easily and quickly change out wrist seals on trips. It is starting to look like the glued in ring is more of a pain in the ass then worth it on my neoprene suit.orcasc205 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:52 pm I have the same type rings (also known as Viking rings) installed on my DUI trilam drysuit. I am able to remove the rings from the DUI silicon zip seals in about 30 seconds and reinstall them in about a minute since they are held by friction fit, so if I have to replace seals in the wild, I can still use the rings.Saanauk wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 5:48 am Yeah I am thinking the way you are using the system may be the better way to go.
