Hmm looks like about an 11 foot exchange that night with slack being around the time they were rescued. If they would have waited a bit before entering, they might have been better off?
They were being pushed towards the dock so I guess that means it was still flooding.

Yeah this got pretty heated over on another forum... You can't dive the evi Park even with a permit after 10:00 p.m. I know because I've talked to the people.. I wanted to do a late night dive during the winter at like 2:00 a.m. and the parks department lady said " No "
So they probably got fined for being there after park hours and hopefully they got fined by the Washington State ferry system...
What I thought was comical on the other forums was how many people don't know about EUP underwater Park and the vicious currents in the shallows...
I've been spanked many times trying to get into the shore when the shallows are ripping...
