Tacoma Pipeline

Post by Boarderguy »

Hello,

Planning a dive at the pipe and wanting to know the current mooring depth of the buoy. We're planning to surface swim out and drop the line. I'd prefer to hit hardscape prior to 150...

End of the pipe is 150 at high tide. Yellow buoy line runs to the pipe and the end of visible from there.

The mooring buoy is at 18 m depth, so you should be able to reach the hardscape before 150.

The mooring buoy is a navigational buoy. It is anchored around 140 fsw near the end of pipe. For clarification, this is the yellow buoy when looking out from Les Davis and to the left (NW).
