Would like to get out and dive more and would be great to find a steady dive buddy. Usually I got afternoons available.
I was US ARMY 1985-1991, but have left myself go some OH heck alot since 1991.
Come to think of it a steady dive buddy gym buddy would be the best thing for me. I got a 24HR fitness membership that goes mostly unused.
One more thing before I go you mention wake up VIOLENTLY??? As in jump to your feet or jump to your feet and start pounding the first thing you get your hand on. ](*,)
I hate gyms, I hate driving to them, it's such a waste of valuable time to wait on machines and people. I bought a crossbow machine, a set of bowflex selectech dumbells and an ab lounger and have not been to a gym in 6 years. I am in decent shape and use my machines religiously. Running keeps me sane and lean.
My weekends are free most of the time until one of our jobs gets put on rush and we hit the overtime frenzy without warning. I guess it helps pay my bills though so I can't complain.
By wake up violently I mean sit straight up and gasp, usually combined with a cold sweat. I did notice that if my room temp is below 65 degrees it helped the nightmares go away a bit. Since I stopped skydiving I have not really had any. Let's keep our fingers crossed that I don't have nightmares of drowning.
BTW I could care less about where I dive. I could dive in 5 feet of water with 0 vis and I would be happy. The bonus for me is the weightless feeling as it eases my upper back pain. The cold water is rather refreshing as well.
