Lake Dives in Snohomish County???
Lake Dives in Snohomish County???
I'm looking for some good lakes to dive in the upcoming weeks. I live in Stanwood, so lakes in Snohomish County would be great (and there are LOTS). My buddy and I will be diving Lake Martha and Lake Ki (both in Warm Beach), but both are relatively shallow. Lake Roesiger is very deep (115') but not accessible via the shore. ](*,)
Any recommendations???

I dove lake rosiger, and lake tye in monroe. At lake rosiger, we went in at the park. Not much to see past the logs there to the left. Just wanted to let you know that vis was prtty bad ( in July) Like 3 feet. I did not see any fish. I went tubbing on lake stevens and the vis there looks a lot better. I would like to try it. Also just a thought...RIVERS! I dove the river at the exit to sylvana behind the feed store on the east side of I-5. The vis is great if you pull yourself upstream, and there were plenty of fish to see.
Just my 2 cents. I am game to go if you need a dive buddy sometime. I live in Marysville.

Heck yeah! I'm diving this Wednesday and Friday, but I'd be up for a couple of FW dives this weekend. I'll PM you.sheahanmcculla wrote: I am game to go if you need a dive buddy sometime. I live in Marysville.
I was actually looking at Lake Stevens. At the Wyatt Park boat launch, the depth goes down to about 80 FFW. I the middle of the lake, it's a whopping 160 FFW! I just may want to dive there, though sadly not to 160 FFW. ](*,)
I thought I'd update this. I have thus far dove Lake Martha and Lake Ki (both in Stanwood). We discussed them HERE.
Next up is Howard Lake (Stanwood), Crabapple Lake (Stanwood), Clear Lake ((Sedro Wolley), Lake Mcmurray, and Lake Stevens, . I'll update this further when I dive those.
Lake diving way fun! It's TOTALLY different than salt water.

I have dove lake roseiger.. it not that deep only about 70ft out in the middle..there a 2 places to dive the lake from the shore. One is the park on the east side, and the other is the boat launch on the south side. as for Lake stevens, I live 10 mins from the lake. So we can dive the Park on the north side of the lake at lundeen Parkway. I have dove there in the summer and vis was really good. So let me know when you want to dive Lake Stevens ..?
Lake Roesiger is on my list too! According to the topo (HERE), the north end is quite deep, 110 FFW. Is there access up there? I'm totally content with 70 FFW. My deepest freshwater dive is only 51 FFW so far...H20doctor wrote:I have dove lake roseiger.. it not that deep only about 70ft out in the middle..there a 2 places to dive the lake from the shore. I'd be game for Lake Stevens this week (Oct 29th).H20doctor wrote:seth, I didnt dive the north larger part of the lake, So ya it just might be that deep.. Let me know if you want to dive lake stevens..?
I can meet up any day (other than Wednesday) at 3pm. Let me check with my buddy and see when he's available; I'd like it if he could come too (but it's not mandatory...).
Unfortunately, H20 Doc couldn't make it so VMac and I did a night dive at Lake Ki (Stanwood). It was friggin' awesome! Holy fish! That was my first freshwater night dive. Wow! Just like in the ocean, it really comes alive at night!Nwbrewer wrote:So, how was it? After my Lake washington dive, I'm kinda liking this freshwater diving. No nasty taste, no gear to rinse....
