haha, i know it's kind of a misnomer, but...
does anyone have any experience with the wetsulit brand "Waterproof"?
http://www.waterproof.se/wet.php
i saw the Capri model at an LDS and they looked very well constructed. a couple of folks there claimed that the 5mil was incredibly warm, akin to a 7mil.
i'm considering getting the Aries 7mil, and was wondering if anyone here has an opinion on this brand.
then all i need is the right hood, and i can be a Power Ranger for halloween. :rr:

For a couple of hundred more you can by a Bare NextGen drysuit with undergarment.

i had considered that. for where i am with my skills right now, i feel that extra couple hundred is better spent put toward a BC. i'm aiming to have a full kit together by early spring. i then plan on diving the heck out of it to work on my bouyancy, and not only stay up on my skills, but to further my education. maybe by next winter i will be able to afford and be ready to progress to drysuits.cardiver wrote:For a couple of hundred more you can by a Bare NextGen drysuit with undergarment.
thanks for the suggestion, though.
i've tried on a couple of the watrerproof brand suits. they are very well constructed, but the sizes available in my LDS just didn't fit quite right.sheahanmcculla wrote:I don't know about those wetsuits but I am looking into a wetsuit by pinnacle. The wetsuit I am looking at is the polar, it has merino wool and I have heard nothing but good things about it.
have you purchased your pinnacle yet? if so, i'm interested to hear what you think of it.
