Wetsuits for petite ladies?

Post by angelica »

ooookay, so i only stand at 5' flat and i wonder what wetsuits divers at the same height as mine use or like? honestly, i am having a hard time finding one that would really suit me. but i actually like the o'neill wetsuuits, they seem ok & cheap too!

but i need ur advice still.

thanks!

Skip the wetsuit and get a drysuit in these waters... especially if you want to dive before late next summer (and then freeze).

Ditto. You'll freeze in a wetsuit. Scuba.com has O'Neill drysuits for $599. That's about the same price as a really nice wetsuit. Not sure about the size though....

Angelica,

I echo everyone else's thoughts, but think you'll be way happier in a custom drysuit. If you get something that fits, you'll be much more comfortable and get the most out of your dives.

Custom usually costs several $100's more than off the rack suits.
