I thought I'd post this unusual sight. Lots of e. rustyus and their eggs.

It was taken at Fort Flagler on one of the pier pilings. A pretty rare sight. Usually you only see 3 or 4 at most and very well hidden at the base of the hydroid. They are very small critters indeed. The branches of that hydroid are only about 2" long at most.

Its like a suburb! WAY out in the middle of nowhere houses built 4 feet away from the neighbor! :smt064
