Hello, again

It's been a while since my last visit here. I thought I probably could introduce myself again for those I haven't met.

I'm from Vancouver, BC. I made a trip to Washington last December. I was lucky enough to have Lynne and Bob show me some dive sites in the area. Shortly after my dives in Washington, I left for China for 3 months and sort of lost contact with the board then. :sign10: I came back to Vancouver early April, but started IDC the second day of my arrival. Just passed the IE this weekend and finally became a PADI instructor. \:D/ 3 of the candidates were from Seattle area, but I forgot to ask if they visit this board. #-o

I thought it's probably time for me to say hi again. Though I haven't got comfortable with the cold water yet, I'd still love to show people some Vancouver divings if anyone decided to come here for a visit. :smt038 Specially Lynne and Bob, miss you. :salute:

Welcome back, and congrats on passing the IE! Way to go!

I get up to Vancouver once or twice a year and will definitely contact you the next time I'm headed up that way.

OK, that's funny because I always thought your avatar looks like Gabe Kaplan (Welcome back Kotter). There probably isn't anyone here under 40 who knows what I'm talking about (FYI, I was only 6 or 7 back then but I can still hear the theme song in my head).

I think I'm going to suggest this song to my band. Wouldn't it be cool for classic rock band to throw something like this song in to the mix, when you are taking people back to thinkin' about good ol' days! =D>

Guanjin, welcome back, and congratulations on passing your instructor class.

I keep saying I've got to make a road trip to Vancouver . . . Maybe this summer, I'll actually get it done. Or come down and visit again, and dive off our new boat!

Lynne, you and Peter should definitely come and visit this summer as I'll be done with school by the end of June thus have lots of time to dive with you guys :D

Congratulation on the new boat, it must be fun to dive off your own boat :smt038

By the way, I just got the new Halcyon DIR set up, the class won't start until July, but I will be diving with it next weekend in Port Hardy \:D/
