The vis looked terrible when we got there, so we ended up diving at Fox Island West Wall instead of Les Davis. Thanks Joe :hello2: (raptor) for having a plan "B" in mind! It was a very nice dive, with easy shore entry and good parking (but no public faciliteis ). There was quite a bit of life on the wall. We saw 2 GPO's, lots of rockfish, starfish, anemonies, sea cucumbers, crabs, and at our SS in the shallows, hundreds of sand dollars (too bad you can't use them for scuba units ). The max depth was about 60 fsw, and the wall itself is a short dive, but because it's shallow there's plenty of time to look around in all the nooks and crannies. It was my first salt water dive with my new BP/W set-up, and I didn't quite have my weighting right for the 1st dive, but figured it out for the 2nd one. It was a fun day!
Thanks Joe for leading a fun dive!!!
It was a great dive.... We had about 20 feet of vis on Sunday.
Thank you Loretta, Joe and Al for a great dive.
Hope we can dive again.
