Diving Gods are angry at you . What Do you do?

Post by sparky »

Ok gang was just wondering

Lets asume you live as I do a good 5 hours drive from your favorite dive site

so as you arive at the dive site you discover that the Dive Gods are not just Anagry at you but they are realy pissed off ](*,) ](*,) #-o

for what ever reason #-o IE a realy bad storm or forgotten gear that can not be rented even in Bassmans Case a Rabid Dog Fish is on the lose.

but diving is out of the question there is no way you are going to be getting wet this trip after a long drive and weeks of planning the trip :pale:

question is what do you do with the Day ?

I for one would not want to drive 5 hours to get to a grate place like Seattle and find I cant dive just to turn around and drive 5 hours back home

so lets talk about some fun and cool stuff :partyman: to do with a dive budy, when you find you have a friend with free time on your hands but cant ( i shudder to think)
do any diving

what are we going to do to have a good time ? :bootyshake: :bootyshake: :partyman: :partyman: \:D/

Well I don't know about the rest of you guys, I just take the zodiac out for a day of boating and exploring. \:D/ . This has been known to happen to me.

But there is always Pike Place Market, always a good choice. The glass musuem, zoo, aquarium, walking along Alki or people watching. Just a few.

diving gods

Post by jeff98208 »

i know the wrath of the dive gods, and they seem to play mean tricks on us divers. they have been utterly cruel to me as of late. i regret them for not letting me dive as much as i'd like to. so if i can i go camping, hiking, or even (dare i say it?) go to the beach and do some snorkeling.

good day!

5 hour drive to go eat?
Better be a good restaurant!
Is The Seattle Aquarium any good?
I know the Point Defience Zoo, in Tacoma, has a nice aquarium.

What? No one has mentioned general whining and sitting around feeling sorry for yourself, followed by painful postings on NWDiveClub in the hopes that some will share your pain?!? :toimonster: :axe:
